School News

We continue to share our enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, the lapidary arts with kids.  They know they can come in to the store any time they're out of school and work on a project.  We teach them how to facet, how to shape cabochons, and the basics of understanding lapidary in general.  We conduct the classes with respect and with a sense of adventure and fun.  Everyone benefits! 

The rough material used in the progam has all been donated, so there's no cost to the kids. 

We encourage interested adults in the area to drop in to learn more about what we do.
